Pratilipi plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its content ecosystem, expand its creator monetization tools, and invest in newer formats such as audio, video, and comics. The company also aims to further develop its AI-driven recommendation engine to enhance content discovery and reader engagement.
Ranjeet Pratap Singh, CEO of Pratilipi, commented on the funding:
“Our mission has always been to let every Indian express themselves in their own language. This funding helps us move closer to making storytelling a viable career path for more creators, while continuing to build a world-class content experience for readers.”
Jungle Ventures, which has backed several high-growth startups across Asia, sees Pratilipi as a powerful platform that taps into India’s linguistic diversity and storytelling tradition.
With this new round, Pratilipi is poised to expand its impact, offering more creators the tools to publish, share, and monetize their stories — whether in text, audio, or visual form. As India’s creator economy continues to grow, Pratilipi is emerging as a key enabler of local-language digital content.
